ระหว่างวันที่ 12–17 กรกฎาคม 2569 สถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองการาจีนำคณะผู้แทนหอการค้ามุสลิมเพื่อการค้าและการพัฒนาและผู้แทนภาคธุรกิจจากกลุ่ม Imtiaz (ผู้ดำเนินธุรกิจหลักด้านค้าปลีกและห้างสรรพสินค้าชั้นนำของปากีสถาน) และบริษัท Habib& Co (ผู้นำเข้าผลิตภัณฑ์สินค้าหลายชนิดจากไทย) เยือนประเทศไทยเพื่อเข้าร่วมงาน GRAND HALAL Bangkok 2026 ครั้งที่ 2 และงาน MEGA HALAL Bangkok 2026 รวมทั้งศึกษาดูงานด้านมาตรฐานฮาลาล การผลิตอาหารฮาลาล การค้าปลีก อันจะเป็นรากฐานสำคัญในการต่อยอดความร่วมมือด้านอุตสาหกรรมฮาลาลที่ครบวงจรระหว่างทั้งสองประเทศในระยะยาว และส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ทางการค้าระหว่างไทย-ปากีสถานให้แน่นแฟ้นต่อไป

 

เมื่อวันที่ 13 กรกฎาคม 2569 คณะผู้แทนได้ประชุมจับคู่ธุรกิจ (B2B) กับผู้บริหารของบริษัท DE SMIT FOOD ผู้ผลิตผลิตภัณฑ์ที่เกี่ยวกับพริกชั้นนำ และบริษัท Star Herb Pharma ผู้ผลิตผลิตภัณฑ์เสริมอาหารและสมุนไพร

 

เมื่อวันที่ 14 กรกฎาคม 2569 คณะผู้แทนได้เยี่ยมชม ศูนย์วิทยาศาสตร์ฮาลาล จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย โดยได้รับการต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่นจาก ดร.พรพิมล มะหะหมัด ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์ฯ พร้อมด้วย ดร.อาณัฐ เด่นยิ่งโยชน์ รองผู้อำนวยการ และคณะบุคลากรของศูนย์ ทั้งนี้ คณะผู้แทนได้รับฟังการบรรยายเกี่ยวกับความเป็นมาและความก้าวหน้าของระบบวิทยาศาสตร์ฮาลาล และเรียนรู้ถึงการบูรณาการวิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยี และนวัตกรรม เพื่อเสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็งให้กับระบบนิเวศฮาลาลและมาตรฐานฮาลาลของไทยในระดับสากล

 

เมื่อวันที่ 15 กรกฎาคม 2569 คณะผู้แทนได้ร่วมการเปิดงาน GRAND HALAL Bangkok 2026 ครั้งที่ 2 ที่มีท่านจุฬาราชมนตรีเป็นประธาน ณ ศูนย์นิทรรศการและการประชุมไบเทค และเยี่ยมชมงานเพื่อสร้างเครือข่ายธุรกิจฮาลาลระหว่างสองประเทศอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม

 

เมื่อวันที่ 16 กรกฎาคม 2569 คณะผู้แทนได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะ นางรุกซานา อัฟซาล เอกอัครราชทูตปากีสถานประจำประเทศไทย ณ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตปากีสถาน เพื่อหารือข้อราชการในการยกระดับความร่วมมือและความสัมพันธ์ด้านเศรษฐกิจ การอำนวยความสะดวกในการร่วมลงทุนทางธุรกิจ การแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ด้านนวัตกรรมอาหารของไทย การกระชับความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาบันในภาคธุรกิจฮาลาล รวมถึงการส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนการเยือนของภาคเอกชนสองฝ่ายในอนาคต ตลอดจนการหาทางเชื่อมโยงผู้ประกอบการไทยกับผู้นำเข้า/เครือข่ายธุรกิจของปากีสถานที่เป็นรูปธรรม

ในวันเดียวกันนี้ คณะผู้แทนยังได้พบหารือกับ มารุต เมฆลอย นายกสมาคมการค้านักธุรกิจไทยมุสลิม (Thai Muslim Trade Association: TMTA) และคณะผู้บริหารสมาคมฯ ภายในงาน Mega Halal Bangkok 2026 ณ ศูนย์การประชุมแห่งชาติสิริกิติ์เพื่อหารือถึงแนวทางการเสริมสร้างเครือข่ายทางการค้า โดยต่อยอดจากบันทึกความเข้าใจ (MoU) ระหว่าง ICCD และ TMTA ได้ลงนามไว้ก่อนหน้านี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายยังได้แลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับแนวทางเชิงยุทธศาสตร์ในการผลักดันความร่วมมือให้เกิดผลเป็นรูปธรรม ผ่านการจับคู่ทางการค้า การจัดเวทีธุรกิจร่วม โดยเฉพาะการจัดกิจกรรมเพื่อผลักดันการส่งออกสินค้าและผลิตภัณฑ์ฮาลาลของไทยในปากีสถาน 

 

เมื่อวันที่ 17 กรกฎาคม 2569 คณะผู้แทนได้ศึกษาช่องทางการจำหน่ายสินค้าและแนวโน้มผู้บริโภคสินค้าฮาลาลผ่านการเยี่ยมชม Tops Supermarket และ Villa Market

นอกจากนี้ ผู้แทนจาก ICCD ยังได้เข้าพบหารืออย่างไม่เป็นทางการกับร้อยโทบรรพต อุชชิน กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองเจดดาห์ เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่าง ICCD ซึ่งเป็นองค์กรเอกชนสำคัญภายใต้องค์กรความร่วมมืออิสลาม (OIC) โดยทำหน้าที่เป็นตัวแทนของภาคเอกชนใน 57 ประเทศสมาชิกกับภาคเอกชนของไทย

 

การเยือนประเทศไทยของคณะผู้แทนจากเมืองการาจีในครั้งนี้ถือเป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญของการดำเนินงานภายใต้ข้อริเริ่มของสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ซึ่งมุ่งส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านเศรษฐกิจ การค้า และการลงทุนระหว่างไทยและปากีสถาน โดยสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ พร้อมทำหน้าที่เป็นสะพานเชื่อมระหว่างภาคธุรกิจกับหน่วยงานภาครัฐ รวมถึงสถาบันการศึกษา เพื่อส่งเสริมและยกระดับมาตรฐานสินค้าฮาลาลของประเทศไทยให้เป็นที่ยอมรับในเวทีโลกและก่อให้เกิดความร่วมมือที่เป็นรูปธรรมและสร้างประโยชน์ร่วมกันอย่างยั่งยืนต่อไป

 

During 12–17 July 2026, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Karachi led a delegation from the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD) and business representatives from the Imtiaz Group (Pakistan's No. 1 Retail Chain) and Habib & Company (importer of various Thai products) to Thailand to participate in the 2nd GRAND HALAL Bangkok 2026 and MEGA HALAL Bangkok 2026. The visit also included study visits on Thailand's halal standards, halal food production, and modern retail sector. These activities are expected to lay a strong foundation for long-term, comprehensive cooperation in the halal industry between Thailand and Pakistan while further strengthening bilateral trade relations.

On 13 July 2026, the delegation participated in business-to-business (B2B) meetings with executives of DE SMIT FOOD, a leading Thai producer of chilli-based products, and Star Herb Pharma, a manufacturer of nutraceutical and herbal products, to explore potential trade and investment opportunities.

On 14 July 2026, the delegation visited the Halal Science Center, Chulalongkorn University, where they were warmly welcomed by Dr. Pornpimol Mahamad, Director of the Center, together with Dr. Anat Denyingyot, Deputy Director, and the Center's staff. The delegation received a comprehensive briefing on the development of Thailand's Halal Science System and learned how science, technology, and innovation are integrated to strengthen Thailand's halal ecosystem and internationally recognized halal standards.

On 15 July 2026, the delegation attended the opening ceremony of the 2nd GRAND HALAL Bangkok 2026, presided over by the Sheikhul Islam of Thailand at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC). The delegation also toured the exhibition and met with industry stakeholders to establish tangible business networks between Thailand and Pakistan.

On 16 July 2026, the delegation paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mrs. Rukhsana Afzaal, Ambassador of Pakistan to Thailand, at the Embassy of Pakistan in Bangkok. Discussions focused on enhancing bilateral economic, trade, and investment cooperation; facilitating business partnerships; promoting knowledge exchange in Thailand's food innovation sector; strengthening institutional collaboration within the halal industry; encouraging reciprocal business visits; and establishing practical linkages between Thai exporters and Pakistani importers and business networks.
On the same day, the delegation met with Mr. Marut Mekloy, President of the Thai Muslim Trade Association (TMTA), and the Association's executive committee during MEGA HALAL Bangkok 2026 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. Building upon the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) previously signed between ICCD and TMTA, both sides exchanged views on strategic approaches to translating the partnership into concrete outcomes through business matching, joint business forums, and initiatives to promote the export of Thai halal products to the Pakistani market.

On 17 July 2026, the delegation visited Tops Supermarket and Villa Market to study distribution channels and consumer trends for halal products in Thailand's modern retail sector.
In addition, the ICCD representative held an informal discussion with Lieutenant Banpoth Ujjin, Consul-General of Thailand in Jeddah, to exchange views on expanding cooperation between ICCD—an important private-sector organization operating under the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) representing the private sector of its 57 member states—and Thailand's private sector, with a view to strengthening multilateral economic and commercial cooperation.

The visit by the Karachi delegation marks another significant milestone under the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Karachi's initiative to promote economic, trade, and investment cooperation between Thailand and Pakistan. The Consulate-General remains committed to serving as a bridge connecting the private sector, government agencies, and academic institutions in both countries to enhance the international recognition of Thailand's halal standards and promote practical, mutually beneficial, and sustainable cooperation between Thailand and Pakistan.
