On 17 January 2025, the Royal Thai Consulate General in Karachi organized a women empowerment workshop on traditional Thai art and craft. The workshop was held to promote Thai traditional cultural heritage, as well as to encourage a sense of community. Participants who are mainly housewives, both Thai and Pakistani, actively learned lessons of Thai traditional embroidery from demonstrators. They volunteered to share their art works and skills in a convivial ambiance and used their art works to decorate the spaces of the Royal Thai Consulate General in a way that reflects Thai traditional artistic and cultural elements.
