4 April 2019: The Royal Thai Consulate General held its Press Conference at Beach Luxury Hotel, announcing Thai Food Festival at the Hotel every Fri, Sat and Sun from 5 -28 April 2019 at 19.00 hours. The Thai dancing performance by 4 professional Thai dancers is set between 5-7 April 2019. The objective of arranging Thai Food Festival is to show people of Pakistan the Thai authentic cuisine and culture. The food dishes prepared by a Thai chef include Thai beef basil, coconut shrimps, prawn tempura, chicken green curry, tom yum soup and many more along with a wide variety of fresh salads including infamous green papaya salad and desserts.  The chef during 5-7 April 2019 is Mr. Monchai Phatchanee who is a former diplomat. Mr. Monchai will also perform a Thai dance with 4 Thai dancers: Ms. Nattanan Janninwong, Ms. Suchira Inthachote, Ms. Sirada Panichamnoy and Ms. Artitaya Ngerndang.
