เมื่อวันที่ 1 สิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2568 นายสุรเชษฐ์ บุญธินันท์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองการาจี ได้เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดบูธไทย ภายในศูนย์แสดงสินค้า Expo Center ในการเข้าร่วมงาน My Karachi ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในงานแสดงสินค้าประจำปีที่ได้รับความนิยมมากที่สุด ซึ่งจัดขึ้นภายใต้การสนับสนุนของหอการค้าและอุตสาหกรรมเมืองการาจี การออกบูธของไทยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อส่งเสริมและประชาสัมพันธ์สินค้า การท่องเที่ยว และวัฒนธรรมไทย รวมทั้งอาหารไทย นอกจากนี้ ภายในบูธไทยยังมีการแสดงด้านวัฒนธรรมและสาธิตการทำอาหาร เพื่อแนะนำ “Soft Power” ของไทยแก่ชาวการาจี

On​ 1 August​ 2025,​ Mr.Surashete Boonthinand, Consul General​ of​ Thailand, presided over​ a​ ceremony​ to​ launch​ the​ Royal​ Thai​ Consulate​ General Karachi​'s​ booth at​ the​ Expo Center​ as​ part​ of​ the​ Royal​ Thai ​Consulate​ ​General​'​s​ goodwill​ gesture to​ participate​ in​ My​ Karachi, one​ of​ the​ most​ popular​ event​s​ held​ annually under​ the​ patronage​ of​ the​ Karachi​ Chamber​ of​ Commerce​ and​ lndus​try.​ The​ Thai​ booth aims to​ promote​ Thai​ products, tourism​ and​ culture​ including​ Thai​ food.​It​ sucessfully​ drew hundreds​ of​ local visitors from​ different​ walks of​ life.​ Cultural​ and​ culinary shows​ were​ perform​ed​ at​ the​ said​ Thai​ booth​ with​ a​ view​ to​ introducing​ the​ so​ called Thai​ soft​ power​ to​ Karachi​ residents.
