นายณรุทธ์ สุนทโรดม กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองการาจี ร่วมกับ ผศ.ดร.มัทฉิมา นราดิศร อธิการบดี มฟล. กล่าวเปิดกิจกรรม และมีการบรรยายพิเศษโดยนายนาวาบซาดา จามาล ไรซานี่ สมาชิกสภาแห่งชาติของปากีสถาน อดีตรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงกีฬา กิจการเยาวชนและวัฒนธรรมแคว้นบาลูจิสถานและศิษย์เก่าของ มฟล. ในหัวข้อ “การสร้างวันพรุ่งนี้ที่ยั่งยืน: เยาวชนไทยและปากีสถานสามารถเปลี่ยนโลกได้อย่างไร” นอกจากนี้ คณาจารย์ของ มฟล. ยังได้แนะนำวิทยาเขตของมหาวิทยาลัยซึ่งตั้งอยู่ในพื้นที่ธรรมชาติที่มีทิวทัศน์สวยงามของ จ.เชียงราย รวมทั้งแนะนำสาขาวิชาต่าง ๆ เช่น อุตสาหกรรมเกษตร Cosmetic Science สาธารณสุข การจัดการ และนวัตกรรมทางสังคม

กิจกรรมดังกล่าวเป็นผลสืบเนื่องจากการที่กงสุลใหญ่ ผู้บริหารและคณาจารย์ มฟล. เดินทางเยือนแคว้นบาลูจิสถานเมื่อเดือนธันวาคม 2566 เพื่อส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์และความร่วมมือไทย - บาลูจิสถาน/ปากีสถาน ซึ่งเป็นประโยชน์ต่อนักเรียนปากีสถานที่สนใจศึกษาต่อในระดับอุดมศึกษาในประเทศไทย

On 30 April 2024, Royal Thai Consulate General in Karachi in collaboration with Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) organized an "MFU Virtual Open House" to introduce the university's academic programmes, facilities, and services to high school students in Karachi and Quetta, Balochistan.

The event featured remarks by Consul General of Thailand in Karachi, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Matchima Naradisorn, President of MFU. The Honorable Mr. Nawabzada Jamal Raisani, Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, Former Minister of Sports, Youth Affairs & Culture of Balochistan, and MFU alumni also delivered a special lecture titled "Building a Sustainable Tomorrow: How Thai & Pakistani Youth Can Change the World".

Faculty members from MFU also introduced the university's campus, which is nestled amidst the scenic natural beauty of Chiang Rai province in Thailand. They presented information on various academic programmes, including Agro-Industry, Cosmetic Science, Public Health, Management, and Social Innovation.

The event was a direct result of a fruitful visit by Consul General and MFU executives to Balochistan in December 2023. It was aimed at promoting Thailand-Balochistan/Pakistan relations and cooperation, and providing information for students interested in pursuing higher education in Thailand.
