เมื่อวันที่ 7 ธันวาคม 2566 สถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองการาจีดำเนินกิจกรรมส่งเสริมกีฬาแก่นักศึกษาไทยในเมืองการาจี ณ สนามกีฬา Legends Arena เมืองการาจี โดยกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองการาจี เป็นประธานเปิดงาน และมอบเงินสนับสนุนแก่สมาคมนักศึกษาไทย มีเจ้าหน้าที่สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ นักศึกษาไทยมุสลิมจากมหาวิทยาลัยนานาชาติบีโนเรีย (Binoria University International) และ Madarsa Ibn e Abbas เมืองการาจีเข้าร่วมประมาณ 100 คน

กิจกรรมฯ ดังกล่าวได้รับการสนับสนุนงบประมาณจากกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมมิตรภาพ ความสามัคคี และความร่วมมือในหมู่นักศึกษา ตลอดจนส่งเสริมการประสานงานและแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลความเห็นระหว่างสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ และนักศึกษาไทยฯ ในเมืองการาจี โดยกิจกรรมกีฬาประกอบด้วย การแข่งขันฟุตบอล ชักกะเย่อ และอื่น ๆ

RTCG organized Sports Day for Thai Student Association in Karachi

On 7 December 2023, Royal Thai Consulate General of Thailand in Karachi organized a sports day activity for Thai students at the Legends Arena in Karachi. Consul General of Thailand presided over the event and about 100 people participated include officials and staffs from RTCG, Thai students from Binoria University International and Madarsa Ibn e Abbas in Karachi.

Consul General also presented a financial grant to the Thai Student Association in Karachi to support the association’s activities, such as cultural events, language classes, and social gatherings.

The sports event was funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. It aimed to promote friendship, unity, and cooperation among students, as well as to promote coordination and exchange of information and views between RTCG and Thai students in Karachi. The event included football matches, tug-of-war, and other activities.
