On October 12, 2023, Mr. Narut Soontarodom, Consul General of Thailand in Karachi, met with Mr. Kashif Imtiaz, CEO of Imtiaz Retail Group, and Mr. Jahanzeb Ahmed, Head of Legal Affairs of the company. Consul General expressed his gratitude to Imtiaz Retail Group for facilitating the RTCG and Director of International Trade Promotion in Dhaka, on his visit to Karachi.

Two sides exchanged information and views on the retail business, ways to promote Thai products, and Pakistani - Thai joint ventures to promote competitiveness in the retail market.
