Blessing Ceremony

4 May 2019 at 9.30 hours: The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Karachi organized the blessing ceremony at the Consulate’s office for King Maha Vajiralongkorn on the occasion of his ascension to the throne. Mr. Thatree Chauvachata, Consul-General, led Thai Community in Karachi and surrounding areas in praising and giving blessing to His Majesty the King with good health and happiness. In addition, all participants have signed the book of blessing on auspicious occasion of coronation, and participated in prayer and meditation activity for the King. This activity is a part of activities in honor of the Royal Coronation, organized by the Royal Thai Embassies and Consulates around the globe.

Coronation Exhibition

The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Karachi has set up a Coronation Exhibition since 1 May 2019 at the Consulate’s office. The Exhibition is open to public during office hours, telling King Rama X’s coronation, his Majesty’s activities and course of life.

Cleaning-up activity

4 May 2019 at 10.00 hours: The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Karachi conducted a clean-up activity in front of the Consulate's main building. Mr. Thatree Chauvachata, Consul-General, led Consulate’s staff and Thai Community in Karachi and surrounding areas to perform the activity. This cleaning-up is a part of activities in honor of the Royal Coronation.

Food donation

4 May 2019 at 12.00 hours: The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Karachi organized a food donation activity at DAR-UL-SUKUN, 159-H Block 3, P.E.C.H.S., Kashmir Road. Mr. Thatree Chauvachata, Consul-General, led 30 people from Consulate’s staff and Thai Community in Karachi and surrounding areas to host lunch to 550 children with disabilities. The donation and volunteer work is a part of activities in honor of the Royal Coronation, organized by the Royal Thai Embassies and Consulates around the globe. Mr. Thatree thanks Mr. Morris Khurshid, General Manager of DAR-UL-SUKUN and his team for setting up the arrangement and making this task a successful and memorable one.

Blood Donation

5 May 2019 at 10.00-14.00 hours: The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Karachi organized a blood donation activity at the Consulate’s office. Mr. Thatree Chauvachata, Consul-General, led Consulate’s staff , Thai community in Karachi and surrounding areas, friends of Thailand and Pak-Thai Friendship Association and Business Forum to donate blood in honor of the Royal Coronation. 27 signed up for the donation but 18 lucky people were qualified for the donation.
