On 22 March 2019 the Consul General of Thailand had 3 main activities enhancing Thai economy and improving business between Pakistan and Thailand: 1) Meeting with Mr. Muhammad Riazuddin, Acting Director Operations of Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority at the Consulate to discuss ways to resolve Pakistan's airspace closure, 2) Meeting with representatives from Pakistan fishery sector: Sindh Trawler Owners & Fishermen Association - STOFA; Mr. Sarwar Siddiqui, Mr. Habib Ullah Khan, and Mr. Abdul Karim Turk) at the Consulate to discuss the possibility of having Thai businessmen invest in value added industries related with fishery business and 3) Meeting with CEOs'SOGO Group of Companies at PECHS, Block 6, Karachi to discuss trade between Thailand and Pakistan and the current Pakistani import policy.
