On 6 March 2019, Consul General Thatree Chauvachata, Deputy Consul General Apipan, Consul Paoyee and Mr. Mubeen Ansari met with  Mr. Arif Suleman, Thai Trade Advisor  and Mr. Adris, a representative from Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the Royal Thai Consulate General discussing ways forward to My Karachi Exhibition at Karachi Expo Centre 5-8 April 2019. The Thai Consul General mentioned that his senior Mr. Monchai, former Thai Consul General to China was preparing to bring a group of 4 traditional Thai dancers to participate in My Karachi from 5 to 7 April 2019 inside the exhibition hall in front of the Thai pavilion. Consequently, the Thai Consul General led his team to again discuss with Mr. Muhammad Abdul Azeem, Corporate Director Sales Avari International Hotels, on Thai Food Festival which will be held at Beach Luxury Hotel in the evening of 5-9 April 2019. The same Thai dancers expected to perform on 5-9 April 2019 during the festival, while a cooking class managed by Mr. Monchai was scheduled on 9 April 2019. Later on this day,Consul General Thatree Chavachata and Deputy Consul General Apipan went to Karachi Expo Center to see the location for the event.
